Congratulations
I wish to give Bill my congratulations and best wishes as he retires. I hope he and Sandie will enjoy and appreciate his retirement as much as Bonnie and I have mine or as I like to say ours, because a wonderful wife and companion is so important to a physician during practice years and retirement. I think our wives certainly fit into this description.
I would also like to say that it has been my pleasure to know Bill even before he actually decided to come to Elkin- Jonesville when he moonlighted in the Hugh Chatham emergency room. It was certainly a relief when he decided to start practice in Jonesville with his partners. He has certainly been a blessing to the community in so many ways.
Recently, I feel like I have gotten to know him and appreciate him more during the battle against Fibrowatt. He really went above and beyond the call of duty and much of the success of keeping them from being allowed to come is due to Bill. Another benefit I received was finding out that he is a Master with the Harmonica. He gave Bonnie and me a concert in our den one day after we had talked about Fibrowatt. He is really talented.
Again Bonnie and I wish him the very best life can offer and we hope to see more of him.
Sincerely,
Hal M Stuart
